1. Marriage Matching (合婚配对): The Complete Guide to Chinese Marriage Compatibility
2. What Is Marriage?
Marriage matching — called 合婚 (héhūn) in Chinese, which literally means "combining two marriages" or "joining two households" — is one of the oldest and most cherished traditions in Chinese metaphysics. At its core, it is the systematic practice of comparing two people's natal charts (八字, BāZì) to assess whether their union will be harmonious, stable, and prosperous over a lifetime. Where a single BaZi reading tells you about one person's destiny, 合婚 reads the relationship between two charts — the resonance, the friction, and the balance they create together.

The philosophy behind it is simple and deeply human: a marriage is not the joining of two isolated individuals, but the merging of two energies, two family lines, and two life trajectories. Chinese tradition holds that if the Five Elements (五行) and Ten Gods (十神) of both partners flow together smoothly, the household will thrive; if they clash, even loving couples will struggle against invisible currents. This is why the famous phrase 八字不合 ("the Eight Characters don't fit") has carried such weight in Chinese culture for centuries — it was often the difference between a marriage being approved or quietly discouraged.
What distinguishes Chinese marriage matching from Western compatibility quizzes is its precision. It does not ask "what is your zodiac sign?" and generalize. It asks for the exact year, month, day, and hour of birth for both people — refined further with true solar time and birthplace — and then layers multiple analytical frameworks: the zodiac affinity (生肖配对) of the year pillars, the mutual generation of the Five Elements, the bonding of the day masters (日主相合), the health of each person's spouse star (配偶星) and spouse palace (配偶宫), and the influence of marriage-related star gods (神煞) such as the Peach Blossom and Red Phoenix. Each layer adds a stroke to a composite picture that, when finished, looks less like a fortune-telling and more like a detailed "relationship X-ray."
Culturally, 合婚 was never just about romance. In traditional China, marriage was described in the Confucian classic The Book of Rites as a rite that "joins the goodwill of two surnames, serving the ancestral temple above and continuing the lineage below." Families engaged matchmakers (媒人) precisely because a marriage was a strategic alliance of two households. 合婚 was the due-diligence step — the elders wanted to know whether the union would bring grandchildren, prosperity, and harmony, or hardship and discord. Over centuries this evolved into a rich folk tradition with its own oral poems, such as the well-known zodiac matching songs, and its own professional class of fortune masters.
In the modern world, the tradition has not faded — it has migrated online. Millions of young couples across mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the global Chinese diaspora quietly run a 合婚 check before engagement, weddings, or even second marriages. They may joke about it with friends, but they still want to know. TripodTerra's Marriage Matching service continues this lineage with a modern upgrade: the classical rules of 《渊海子平》(Yuanhai Ziping), 《三命通会》(Samming Tonghui), and 《滴天髓》(Ditian Sui) are encoded into a computational engine that delivers a consistent, explainable, and deeply detailed compatibility analysis in minutes — day or night. Whether you are a skeptic seeking reassurance or a believer seeking guidance, 合婚 offers something rare: a structured way to think about the long arc of a relationship before you commit to it.
3. The Origins and History of Marriage
The story of Chinese marriage matching begins not with astrology but with ritual. In the Zhou dynasty (c. 1046–256 BCE), marriage was formalized through the 六礼 (Six Rites) — 纳采 (proposal gifts), 问名 (asking the bride's name and birth data), 纳吉 (divination to confirm the match), 纳征 (betrothal gifts), 请期 (selecting the wedding date), and 亲迎 (welcoming the bride). Note the third step: 纳吉 — divination was literally built into the wedding ceremony. Before a match was confirmed, the families would consult the divination arts — the earliest form of marriage matching. The Book of Rites (礼记) records the guiding principle: "昏礼者，将合二姓之好，上以事宗庙，而下以继后世也" — the wedding rite joins two surnames, serving the ancestors above and continuing the lineage below. Even the Book of Songs (诗经), the oldest Chinese poetry anthology, celebrates the bride as a blossoming peach tree: "桃之夭夭，灼灼其华，之子于归，宜其室家" — a woman whose marriage brings prosperity to her new home.
By the Tang dynasty (618–907 CE), marriage divination had grown sophisticated enough to attract imperial attention. Emperor Taizong commissioned the scholar Lü Cai (吕才) to compile and standardize the imperial Yin-Yang Books (阴阳书) — a project that included the arts of marriage selection. Interestingly, Lü Cai is remembered for arguing against crude fatalism, insisting that divination should not override common sense and moral judgment. His writings mark the moment when Chinese intellectuals began debating the limits of 合婚 — a debate that continues among modern scholars of Chinese metaphysics today.
The true turning point came in the Song dynasty (960–1279 CE), when the scholar Xu Ziping (徐子平) perfected the Four Pillars system (子平法) — the framework in which a person's destiny is read from the year, month, day, and hour pillars, each carrying a Heavenly Stem and an Earthly Branch. Once birth data could be reduced to four precise pillars, marriage matching gained a rigorous analytical core: the day stem became each person's Day Master (日主), the day branch became the Spouse Palace (配偶宫), and the wealth star (for men) or officer star (for women) became the Spouse Star (配偶星). The canonical texts that still anchor the tradition today — 《渊海子平》and the Ming-dynasty masterwork 《三命通会》(c. 1590) by Wan Minying (万民英) — devote entire chapters to analyzing marriage fortune through these lenses.
During the Ming and Qing dynasties (1368–1912), 合婚 moved from the scholar's study into the village square. Two folk traditions flourished alongside the high-level BaZi analysis: Nayin matching (纳音合婚), which compared the elemental "sounds" of the year pillars (such as 海中金 "gold in the sea" or 炉中火 "fire in the furnace"), and the beloved zodiac pairing system (生肖配对), whose memory verses — "Rat and Ox combine, Dragon and Rooster combine..." — are still recited by grandparents today. The zodiac system is simple enough for any family to use, which is exactly why it survived: it turned an esoteric art into a shared cultural vocabulary.
It is worth noting that China was never alone in this pursuit. Western astrology developed synastry — the comparison of two natal charts through planetary aspects — while Vedic astrology produced the elaborate Guna Milan system, which scores a match across 36 points including emotional temperament and physical compatibility. Every major divination tradition on earth independently concluded that marriage compatibility could be read from the stars and the birth chart. The Chinese contribution is the most structured: a layered method that weighs zodiac affinity, element balance, day-master bonding, spouse-star health, and timing all at once.
In the 20th century, political and social upheaval pushed 合婚 to the margins, dismissed as superstition alongside the arranged marriages it had served. But the late 20th century brought a remarkable revival — first through paper almanacs, then websites, then apps. Today, 合婚 is the most-requested compatibility service in Chinese-language digital metaphysics, and AI engines like TripodTerra's now carry the same classical rules forward at machine speed. The tradition has changed its medium many times — oracle bones, bronze divination, paper charts, smartphone screens — but its question has never changed: will these two people build a good life together?
4. How Does Marriage Work? Core Principles
A serious 合婚 analysis is not a yes/no verdict. It is a layered reading — think of it as five overlapping lenses, each examining a different dimension of the union. Here is how TripodTerra's Marriage Matching engine works, layer by layer.
Layer 1: Zodiac affinity (生肖配对). The year-pillar animals are the most famous layer. The twelve zodiac animals form Six Harmony pairs (六合): Rat–Ox, Tiger–Pig, Rabbit–Dog, Dragon–Rooster, Snake–Monkey, and Horse–Goat. These are traditionally the most auspicious unions — the partners are said to "fit like a key in a lock." Then come the Six Clashes (六冲): Rat–Horse, Ox–Goat, Tiger–Monkey, Rabbit–Rooster, Dragon–Dog, and Snake–Pig — pairs believed to attract but constantly rub against each other. Between these extremes lie the trines (三合) — Rat–Dragon–Monkey, Ox–Snake–Rooster, Tiger–Horse–Dog, and Rabbit–Goat–Pig — which represent natural team spirit, and the milder Six Harms (六害): Rat–Goat, Ox–Horse, Tiger–Snake, Rabbit–Dragon, Monkey–Pig, and Rooster–Dog. Important nuance: the zodiac layer is a signal, not a verdict. As you will see, many of TripodTerra's most successful matches are zodiac "clashes" resolved by deeper layers.
Layer 2: Five Elements balance (五行互补). Every chart is a mix of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water. An ideal match is one where each partner's chart supplies what the other lacks. For example, if one person's chart is scorched with Fire and desperately needs Water (their favorable element, 用神, is Water), a partner whose chart is rich in Water is a gift from the universe — they stabilize and nourish each other. This is called 用神互补 (useful-god complementarity), and professional matchmakers consider it among the strongest indicators of a lasting marriage. Conversely, two charts both dominated by the same aggressive element — say, two headstrong Metal charts — may produce constant competition.
Layer 3: Day master bonding (日主相合). The day stems of the two charts are checked against the Heavenly Stem Combinations (天干五合): 甲–己, 乙–庚, 丙–辛, 丁–壬, 戊–癸. When the two partners' day masters form one of these pairs, the charts are said to "call to each other" — a deep, almost chemical attraction that persists beyond infatuation.
Concrete example: Suppose a man was born in 1996 (Fire Rat, 丙子年) with a Metal day master (庚金), and a woman was born in 1997 (Fire Ox, 丁丑年) with a Wood day master (乙木). Read the layers:
Zodiac: Rat and Ox form a Six Harmony pair — the families instantly relax.
Day masters: 庚金 and 乙木 form 乙庚合化金 — one of the Five Heavenly Stem Combinations. Traditionally this indicates a powerful bonding between the spouses. Note the subtlety: raw Five Elements would say "Metal cuts Wood" (金克木) — a clash! But the combination 乙庚合 transforms the conflict into union. This is why 合婚 reads relationships, not raw elements — it is exactly this kind of sophistication that no simple quiz can reproduce.
Spouse stars: For a woman whose day master is 乙木, the husband star (正官) is precisely 庚金 — which happens to be the man's day master. Her chart literally points at him. For the man, whose day master is 庚金, the wife star (正财) is precisely 乙木 — which is her day master. Each partner's destiny chart names the other as the spouse star. In classical terms, this is a rare and beautiful signature of a fated pairing.
Layer 4: Spouse palace and star health (配偶宫与配偶星). Each chart's day branch is the Spouse Palace — the "room" where the spouse lives. The analysis checks: Is that branch crushed by 刑冲合害 in the partner's chart? Does each person's spouse star (a man's wealth star, a woman's officer star) sit strong in the chart, or is it weak, hidden, or mixed with rivals (官杀混杂) — a classic sign of confusing love lives and delayed marriage? A clean spouse star and an undisturbed spouse palace predict smooth marriage; a chaotic one predicts turbulence that must be navigated consciously.
Layer 5: Star gods and timing (神煞与大运流年). Marriage-related star gods (神煞) color the reading: the Peach Blossom (桃花) indicates charm and romantic opportunities (too much of it warns of temptation), while 红鸾 (Red Phoenix) and 天喜 (Heaven's Joy) are the classic marriage stars, and 孤辰寡宿 (Solitude stars) can indicate emotional distance if active at the wrong time. Finally, the luck cycles (大运) and passing years (流年) of both partners are projected forward to answer the timing questions: When is each person's chart most receptive to marriage? When will the couple face their hardest years, and when will they be happiest? For instance, a year that 冲 (charges) a partner's spouse palace may bring a proposal — or a crisis — depending on how the couple handles it.
All five layers are then synthesized into an overall assessment with a transparency score across dimensions: affinity, emotional rhythm, financial cooperation, family harmony, and long-term stability — plus a personalized explanation of what each partner should watch for. This is not fortune-telling dressed as science; it is a classical framework, applied with computational consistency, that gives couples a shared vocabulary for their strengths and frictions. The final piece of the puzzle is timing: once the verdict is clear, the auspicious date selection service takes over to choose the wedding day itself.
5. What Questions Can Marriage Answer?
The 合婚 analysis is not an oracle that answers "will we get married?" with a coin flip. It answers specific, practical questions that real couples actually bring to the table:
1. "We've been together for years — are we truly compatible long-term?" The most common question, and the heart of the service. The five-layer reading (zodiac, elements, day-master bonding, spouse palace, star gods) produces a structured answer: where your energies reinforce each other, and where the friction points will live. Mini example: a couple with a perfect zodiac pair but two Fire-heavy charts learns that their romance is effortless but their finances will need explicit budgeting agreements — because two headstrong Fire personalities both want to drive.
2. "Is this the right year for us to marry?" Timing is half of 合婚. The engine projects both partners' luck cycles and passing years to identify when each chart is "open" for marriage — typically a year that activates the spouse star or the Red Phoenix marriage star. Mini example: one woman's analysis showed her 2024 (甲辰年) activating her spouse palace; she set her engagement for autumn of that year — and the relationship solidified quickly once committed.
3. "After the honeymoon, what will our daily life feel like?" By comparing temperament indicators (the Ten Gods and element balance), the reading sketches the household rhythm: who initiates, who stabilizes, who needs solitude, who needs attention. Mini example: a strong Metal day master and a strong Water day master are told they will thrive on intellectual debate and shared adventures — and warned that the Metal partner's bluntness will occasionally sting the Water partner's sensitivity. Forewarned, they learn to translate each other.
4. "We're in a long-distance relationship — can this last?" Long-distance strains emotional bonds, and the reading highlights the couple's communication star (the relationship between their day masters) to assess whether distance will erode or strengthen them. Mini example: a 乙庚-合 pair — the day masters literally "call to each other" — handled two years apart far better than most; the analysis flagged that their bond survived because the emotional foundation was the strongest layer of their chart.
5. "Will our families get along?" Traditional 合婚 was always about two households, and the reading extends to family dynamics through the parent/elder stars. Mini example: a couple with clashing year pillars (and therefore clashing family energies) learned to manage in-law interactions proactively — setting boundaries before holidays, not after conflicts.
6. "What about children?" The offspring palace and stars (子女宫) in both charts reveal the couple's child fortune — its timing and its challenges. Mini example: one couple's reading predicted a late but strong child fortune; they stopped panicking about their timeline, relaxed, and welcomed their first child at 38 — exactly in the window the analysis identified.
7. "I've been through a divorce. Will a second marriage work?" This is a growing share of queries. The analysis examines the current chart's spouse star condition — distinguishing the "first-marriage turbulence" written in the old luck cycle from the steadier second-cycle. Mini example: a man whose first marriage collapsed during a year that charged his spouse palace consulted 合婚 before remarrying; his reading showed a clean spouse star in his current cycle, and his second marriage — entered with a consciously chosen date — has been stable for years.
8. "How do we manage our differences instead of fighting about them?" The most constructive question of all. The reading converts the friction points into an operating manual: the Zodiac-Clash couple learns that their arguments are structural (one accelerates, one brakes), not personal, and adopts the ritual of "speed-check conversations" before big decisions.
6. Marriage vs Other Metaphysical Tools
TripodTerra offers a family of divination tools, and each answers a different question. Understanding the map helps you choose the right instrument — or combine them, as many users do.
BaZi Reading — "Who am I?" The individual destiny chart. A BaZi reading tells you about your strengths, weaknesses, life phases, and the shape of your own marriage fortune — what kind of partner your chart is drawn to, and when your own luck favors commitment. Use it before pairing up: you cannot read a relationship clearly until you understand the two individuals in it. The full BaZi chart adds the complete natal grid, daily/monthly/yearly fortune cycles, and alerts — the finest-grained personal instrument on the site.
Marriage Matching — "Do we fit?" The relationship instrument. It applies two charts against each other through the five-layer method described above. This is the tool to use when you already have a partner and you want the composite picture: affinity, element balance, day-master bonding, spouse-star health, family dynamics, child fortune, and timing. Where BaZi is a portrait, 合婚 is a duet.
Horoscope Compatibility — "How do we feel?" Western astrology reads the emotional and communicative weather of a relationship: sun-sign chemistry, moon-sign emotional needs, Venus and Mars styles. It is faster, broader, and speaks the language of personality — excellent for the early-dating question "do we click?" It complements 合婚 beautifully: the zodiac/element layers of 合婚 look at structural life compatibility, while the horoscope layers look at everyday emotional texture. Many TripodTerra users run both — the 合婚 verdict for the long-term architecture, the horoscope reading for the communication manual.
Auspicious Date Selection — "When do we seal it?" Once the marriage question is answered, the date question begins. 择日 selects the wedding date that harmonizes with both charts — avoiding clashes with either person's day master, spouse palace, or family year pillars, and favoring dates that activate the marriage stars. The natural workflow is a pipeline: BaZi → Marriage Matching → Date Selection. Understand yourself, confirm the union, then time the ceremony.
So which do you need today? If you are single and want to understand your marriage fortune: BaZi Reading. If you are dating or engaged and want the relationship verdict: Marriage Matching. If you want the emotional-chemistry layer: Horoscope Compatibility. If the ring is bought: Auspicious Date Selection. They are not competitors — they are layers of one tradition, each adding depth to the question the previous one answered.
7. Real-World Case Studies
All cases are anonymized, with identifying details altered, and shared with permission.
Case 1: The Zodiac-Clash Couple (卯酉相冲). A couple came to TripodTerra at a tense family dinner's aftermath. He was born in 1987 (Rabbit, 丁卯年); she was born in 1993 (Rooster, 癸酉年). Her parents, reciting the old zodiac songs, objected: Rabbit and Rooster are a Six Clash pair (卯酉冲) — "they'll tear each other apart," the elders said. The engagement was on hold. The 合婚 reading took all five layers before answering. The zodiac clash was real — the year pillars do indicate structural friction in decision-making style: he bends, she decides. But the deeper layers told a different story. Her day master was 癸水 (Water); his was 甲木 (Wood). Water generates Wood — she nourishes him, literally feeding his ambition and calm. Their day masters did not clash; they flowed into each other. The reading's verdict: surface friction, deep harmony. The couple shared the full analysis with both families, chose a wedding date that avoided clashing with either spouse palace through date selection, and married. Five years later they report the friction still exists — she still makes decisions faster than he does — but they now laugh about it as "the rabbit learned to use the rooster's speed." What 合婚 gave them was not permission but translation: the structural reason for their arguments, so the arguments stopped being personal.
Case 2: The Delayed Marriage. A woman in her early thirties, successful and accomplished, had watched three serious relationships dissolve. She came to the service less with hope than with resignation — "everyone says my chart is bad for marriage." The reading honored her honesty and disagreed. Her chart showed 官杀混杂 — a mixed officer/seven-kill configuration, a classical signature of confused romantic signals: she attracted interested men, but the wrong ones, in the wrong seasons. The analysis also found her spouse star sitting hidden rather than revealed (藏而不透) — strong but invisible, waiting for the right activating year. The engine projected her luck cycles and identified the coming 辰-year and 巳-year as windows that would surface her spouse star. She did not treat the reading as a command — she treated it as a map. In the 辰-year, a colleague she had known for years — someone previously "invisible" to her — asked her out. The chart had named the pattern, not the man. They married in the following year, in a month selected to avoid clashing her spouse palace. Her own summary: "I stopped auditioning strangers and started seeing the person already in my life. The chart didn't choose him. It just finally let me see him."
Case 3: The Second Marriage Question. A divorced man in his late forties wanted to remarry but carried the scar of a bitter first marriage — and a mother who worried he was repeating a mistake. His first marriage had ended precisely in a year that charged his spouse palace (冲动配偶宫) — an external shock, the reading showed, more than a fundamental mismatch. His current partner's chart, however, exhibited 用神互补 — her Water-rich chart supplied the balance his Fire-heavy chart had always lacked. The composite score was strong on every dimension except the one he feared: trust. The analysis closed with a practical note — remarry in a year that activates the Red Phoenix marriage star rather than one that charges his palace — and he did. Years later, the marriage is stable, and his mother is his wife's fiercest defender. What changed? Not his chart. His map — and his choice to follow it.
These are not stories of prediction. They are stories of perception: couples and individuals who used a structured classical framework to see their relationships more clearly, then made their own decisions with better information.
8. AI-Powered Marriage vs Traditional Consultation
A traditional 合婚 consultation with a fortune master can be profound — and scarce. The best masters carry decades of interpretive skill, and their human judgment is genuinely irreplaceable. But a human consultation has real costs: availability (a good master may be booked for weeks), consistency (interpretation varies from master to master), and price (serious consultations are expensive). And crucially, a human master can only read the charts in front of them — each analysis is a fresh performance.
AI-powered 合婚 preserves the canon and removes the friction. The classical rules — the zodiac combinations, the Five Elements, the day-master bonds, the spouse-star conditions, the star gods, the luck-cycle projections — are deterministic systems, and machines are exceptionally good at deterministic systems. TripodTerra's engine applies the same rules the same way every time: the same two charts always produce the same analysis, with the same reasoning, explainable line by line. This matters, because reproducibility is the foundation of trust — you are never at the mercy of one interpreter's mood or one consultant's busy week.
What AI adds beyond speed and consistency is depth of combination. A full five-layer comparison of two charts touches thousands of rule combinations — zodiac pairing, element interactions, stem combinations, palace interactions, star gods, and years of projected luck cycles. A human can hold a few dozen of these relationships in mind at once; an engine holds all of them, and it never forgets the layers it already examined. The result is a reading that is both more exhaustive and more honest: the AI will flag the layer that contradicts the happy verdict, rather than stopping at the reassuring answer.
None of this replaces the human master — it democratizes the tradition. What used to require travel, scheduling, and a substantial fee is now available in minutes, at a fraction of the cost, with a free trial. The ancient texts are not discarded; they are finally readable — 《渊海子平》and 《三命通会》 computed, not just consulted. For those who want both, the AI analysis makes the ideal preparation: arrive at a human consultation already fluent in your own charts, with your questions sharpened and your blind spots identified.
9. How to Start Your Marriage Journey
Starting with TripodTerra's Marriage Matching is a three-step ritual you can complete before your next cup of tea cools.
Step 1 — Gather the data. The engine needs the birth year, month, day, and hour for both partners (morning/evening is enough if the exact hour is unknown), plus birthplace and gender. If you are unsure of details, the onboarding wizard inside the chat interface walks you through every field — and if you have already built a BaZi chart on the site, your profile is reused automatically.
Step 2 — Ask your question. Open the Marriage Matching chat and ask in plain language — "are we compatible?", "when should we marry?", "will my second marriage work?", "how should we handle our long-distance period?" The analysis streams back in sections: zodiac affinity, element balance, day-master bonding, spouse palace, star gods, and timing — each explained in plain words, with the reasoning shown.
Step 3 — Layer and act. Most couples don't stop at one reading. Follow the marriage verdict with an auspicious date selection for the wedding day, or enrich it with a horoscope compatibility reading for the emotional communication layer. And if you are still single, begin with a BaZi reading to understand your own marriage fortune first — you cannot read the duet before you know the solo.
New users start with free trial credits, so the first analysis costs nothing but a few minutes. Whether you leave with a green light, a yellow light, or simply a deeper understanding of each other, you will leave with one thing every couple needs: a clearer picture of the road ahead.
How accurate is AI marriage matching?
Accuracy in this tradition means two things: fidelity to the classical canon and consistency of application. TripodTerra encodes the rules of 《渊海子平》, 《三命通会》, and 《滴天髓》 exactly as the tradition defines them, and applies them identically every time. The reading is best understood not as a prediction machine but as a structured, centuries-tested framework for assessing relationship compatibility — the same framework a professional 合婚 master would use, computed exhaustively and transparently.
What information do I need?
Both partners' birth year, month, day, and hour (the hour can be approximate), birthplace, and gender. The more precise the data, the more precise the layers; if a birth time is unknown, the engine adjusts by widening the uncertainty and weighting the layers that do not depend on the hour — the zodiac and element analysis remain fully usable.
What if we're a "zodiac clash" pair?
Then you are in excellent company — the Six Clash pairs are among the most common couples to consult 合婚, precisely because their families worry. As Case 1 above shows, the zodiac layer is only one of five. Many clash pairs have day-master bonds or element complementarity that the ancestors would have envied. The reading will tell you exactly which layers strengthen you and which layers need deliberate management — and how.
Is 合婚 about "fate," or does it just tell us what to do?
Neither — it is a map, not a script. 合婚 identifies the structural dynamics of a pairing: where energies reinforce, where they rub, and when the luck cycles support commitment. It does not remove free will; it sharpens it. Couples who use the reading to have honest conversations about their friction points consistently report better outcomes than couples who use it as a verdict to obey.
Does a poor score mean we should break up?
Absolutely not. A difficult reading is the most useful reading: it names the friction points before they become wounds. Many of the strongest marriages in our case files started with caution-flag charts and partners who used the analysis as a relationship operating manual. 合婚 is a diagnostic, not a judge.
Can it predict divorce or infidelity?
It does not predict events — no honest metaphysical system does. It does identify risk structures: a charged spouse palace in a specific luck year, an overactive Peach Blossom star, or a mixed officer-star configuration can indicate periods of vulnerability. Knowing those windows in advance lets couples protect their marriage exactly when it needs protecting — which is the entire point of the tradition.
Is my birth data safe?
Your data is encrypted and used only to generate your analysis. TripodTerra treats birth profiles as highly sensitive personal information — they are never shared, never sold, and you can delete them at any time from your dashboard.
What does it cost?
New users receive free trial credits that cover a full first analysis. After that, the service runs on lightweight, pay-as-you-go quota — a fraction of the cost of a traditional consultation, with no appointment and no waiting list. Annual plans and top-up packs are available in the plans section if you plan to explore the full suite of services.
How is this different from a magazine compatibility quiz?
A quiz gives you ten identical questions and one paragraph. 合婚 gives you five analytical layers computed from two complete destiny charts — zodiac affinity, element balance, day-master bonding, spouse-star health, palace interactions, star gods, and years of projected timing — each explained and each open to question. One is entertainment; the other is a tradition refined over a thousand years, now powered by AI.
