1. Introduction to Yes or No Tarot Readings
When you ask the tarot a yes or no question, the Major Arcana carry special weight. These 22 cards represent life's big themes — destiny, identity, transformation — so their answers tend to be strong and clear. But a card's yes or no meaning is not always a simple binary. Context, position (upright or reversed), and the surrounding cards all shape the message.
This guide walks through the yes or no tendencies of every Major Arcana card, so you can read with more confidence. Treat all readings as reflective guidance rather than fixed predictions.
2. How to Read Yes or No from the Major Arcana
2.1. Upright vs Reversed
In most yes or no systems:
- Upright cards lean toward yes, reversed toward no or not yet.
- Some cards are neutral and suggest the answer depends on your choices.
- Major Arcana cards often signal that the matter is significant and not easily changed in the short term.
